Truly enjoyed our huge and extremely spacious rooms in this place.
Highly recommended for short stay. The hotel was a lovely place for enjoying a nice enough area, just next door to Isla Tortuga and the ferry and Bioluminiscencia Tours. The location was particularly good - within a walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. The staff were affable and helpful with requests.

The value for money at Mauras Tropical Mini was excellent, with a clean and comfortable room. The location was great, close to the Curu wildlife refuge and bioluminescent kayaking. The staff, especially the sweet family who runs the hostel, were friendly and helpful.

I had a great time at Mauras Tropical Mini in Paquera! The owner was so friendly, always making coffee and chatting with guests. The atmosphere was super relaxed and I even got to practice my Spanish. The hostel is in a good location for exploring, and the owner's brother took us on a boat trip to Isla Tortuga for only $23 each. They provided snorkeling equipment too. The hostel is cozy, clean, and has a nice kitchen where you can cook. They even offer free laundry service!
100% Recommend this hotel!

The hosts at Mauras Tropical Mini Hostel were super friendly and helpful. It felt more like a homestay than a hostel. We enjoyed the private and peaceful atmosphere, reading in the hammocks. the private access to a one burner stove and mini fridge was convenient for us. the location was great, with a grocery store and bus station within a 5-10 minute walk. Perfect for those who enjoy karaoke and casinos.
Felt free to seek any assistance, nothing to complain about.

Beautiful, well-situated hostel in a charming village. Night plankton tour was amazing. Friendly and helpful staff, although only one speaks English. Clean room and toilet, with a towel provided. Spacious enough for two people. Access to an open kitchen and the option to borrow kitchen utensils. Convenient parking space and close to a small shop and restaurants.

The hostel was in a central location, close to many restaurants and attractions. The family who took care of the hostel were very sweet and their son was adorable. The accessible kitchen was clean and great for cooking. We also enjoyed the opportunity to tune our bikes in the hostel patio. We met amazing people here who we later travelled with to Montezuma. a good value for money.
Our room was extremely hot, even hotter than outside. The provided fan didn't help much and we had to leave the doors open to cool it down.

I had a great value for my money at Mauras Tropical Mini. The room was beautiful and comfortable, with a clean bathroom and even the best toilet paper I've used in my travels. The location was central and convenient, and the staff treated me like family. They were gracious and friendly, making coffee and sitting with me to practice our languages. The atmosphere was relaxed and chill, with a lovely patio where I could tune my bike and meet other travelers. a homestay-like experience that I would highly recommend.
The breakfast could use some improvement.

For a short stay, Mauras Tropical Mini was perfect. The Curu wildlife refuge and nearby bioluminescent kayaking were absolutely amazing. The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring these attractions. The host was incredibly helpful and friendly, even though he didn't speak English. The open kitchen was a nice feature, and despite the language barrier, the hostess was friendly and assisted us with calling the national park. Everything was clean and well-maintained.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.
